TERMS & CONDITIONS
CLIENT / COACH RELATIONSHIP
Each client will receive a free twenty-minute awareness call as an introduction to coaching. Life coaching can address specific personal projects, confidence building, life transitions, business successes or failures, or general conditions in the client's life or profession. Other coaching services include value clarification, brainstorming, identifying action plans, examining life transitions, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests or suggestions for action. The client understands that successful coaching requires a co-active collaborative approach between the client and coach. In the coaching relationship, the coach plays the role of a facilitator of change, but it is the client's responsibility to enact or bring about the change. If the client believes the coaching is not working as desired, the client will communicate and take action to return the power to the coaching relationship or choose to terminate the coaching agreement. All coaching sessions are virtual and are a total of forty-five minutes.
TERMS AND MENTAL HEALTH CLAUSE
Each client will sign the Life With Gia contract before sessions can begin. Life Coaches are not licensed, counselors or therapists. Coaching focuses on the future and helps the client to develop a plan to execute their goals. The coach cannot counsel or diagnose past trauma or underlying issues that can interfere with the coaching process. A resource tool can be made available outlining the difference between counseling and coaching at the client's request. The client agrees that if any mental health difficulties arise during the coaching relationship that can interfere with the coaching process, the coach will provide a referral. All sessions are confidential. Exceptions to the confidentiality clause relate to circumstances such as intent to seriously harm someone, child abuse, etc.
PAYMENT OF SERVICES
All payments will be collected through Paypal or Zelle. Payments should be paid in full at least one week prior to the virtual session. After payment is received an invoice will be sent via email to confirm purchase.
